Brain dead EPC assessor?

I lined all the external walls on the inside with 80mm non foil kingspan, plasterboard and skimmed , all floors 100 mm kingspan, all combi boilers. All energy saving bulbs. and L e d As before I left parts exposed in progress , step ladders to loft and so on so she could measure up and photo it Used this girl several times as she knows her job and knowns that I supply insulation as a business anyway

They do seem to assume a lot. ‘No cavity wall insulation (assumed)’ but the holes where it was injected were clear to see for anyone looking for them. 30% low energy bulbs when it was over 90%.
Who trains and who regulates these people

Quick update, assessor revisited, inspected loft and outcome was a C as I expected.

Originally the assessor was poorly equipped, didn’t carry ladders they were happy using (even though both myself and tenant can get access using same ladder type).

Good outcome. Well done for persisting.

We had a scammer EPC assessor. Our property has always been C. He came and pushed really hard for us to install his mate’s high retention heater. When we refused, he called next day and said that we got a very low E, only two points from F. Are we sure we don’t want the heater that would boost our ratings? He can hold on before issuing EPC.
We refused because we don’t like being manipulated.
Good thing that came out of it, it inspired my husband to train as EPC assessor (he’s retired) and re-do EPC. It indeed was a high C. And now my man has a part-time job that he enjoys.
True story. The moustache-man (he has moustache exactly like Salvador Dali) has his website on the top of search results. There he calls himself “your EPC man”.

I dont blame you on not having that heating installed! The marking down is ridiculous. Did you report this to anyone?
