A prospective tenant had placed a holding deposit after viewing, but without telling us. We have initiated referencing, but this won’t be completed before the 96 hours expire. We like the person and just wish the referencing could be completed within the time limit. Can the 96 hours be extended? It is now the weekend and referees are unlikley to respond before Monday and the 96 hours expire on the day before (ie tomorrow).
