Last time I used OR, I was able to screen potential tenants by letting them , via open rent, indicate that their salary would be sufficient , they have the right to rent and they a max of 2 sharers.
I don’t see this box to tick anymore. My ad is live , is this related to the renters right act?
None of those things are affected by Renters Rights Act but you need to check anyway
a) They still have to have right to rent and as LL legally you have to check anyway
n) You can still check affordability by referencing and shouldn’t just trust their word
c) You can still specify how many tenants on the contract
Under RRA you can’t discriminate against people receiving benefits but that’s part of their income and it’s still the case they need to be able to afford it in their interest and yours. You can’t blanket discriminate because people have children either
