If you haven’t found a new place to live by the end date provided on the section 21 then inform the letting / estate agent asap that you are not able to vacate the property. Good open communication will make this situation easier to deal with for all parties involved. The end date on the section 21 means this is the first date that the landlord can apply to the court to start the process for possession of the property. Keep paying your rent in full and on time and keep looking for a new place to live (I know it’s tough at the moment with the short supply of rental properties) also contact Shelter for advice.
