I am looking to buy my first auction property can anyone recommend a solicitor who can review a legal pack quickly and also the estimated costs for conveyancers who specialise is auction purchases.

Conveyancing fees vary depending on location and also the individual solicitors.
If you are buying without a mortgage and it’s an uncomplicated property you could always do the conveyancing yourself.
I saved £600 a few years ago doing it myself for a leasehold house.
Land Registry are very helpful if you have questions.
I hired a solicitor for the selling as it appeared more complicated and it is preferred a solicitor handle it, so I was told, in part, to the handing over of the purchase price. Understandably I guess they prefer to pay it through a legal channel.
