Where did you sent the money, via openrent or direct to the “landlords” bank account?
Was this a facebook ad by any chance?
If openrent, was it a genuine link? Scammers will often use a fake openrent website address.
No credible landlord asks for money before even viewing it.
Sounds like a scam to me. I doubt you have actually paid to Openrent. Likely to a scammer.
So you give true advice to a tenant about a scammer but not to a tenant about another landlord cause all landlords stick together?? Just my experience from your reply to my comment about damp, condensation mould cause, I showed my adviser what you wrote they are not a landlord but they certainly no when a landlord is wrong, maybe not intentionally, I understand if a landlord makes an honest mistake though but to just say what ever need be to keep a tenant quite and give a landlord and easy time is not good a good practice to have ot attitude I’m afraid.
