Hello. The house that I stay in is sold out to a new property agency. But my deposit is still with the open rent. If I want to move out of this flat in the future, will I get my deposit from openrent?
There is no official email from open rent or the landlord about the property being sold out to a new agency. What do you advice?

Contact the new owner, (via the old one if necessary) and ask them what has happened to your deposit. The new landlord should have transferred it to their own deposit account and served you with a new set of Prescribed Information so that you know where it is. If this hasn’t happened then the new owner is in breach of the legislation.
