End of tenancy clean

Hi,

My landlord added to the inventory that he will be organising an end of tenancy clean and it will be deducted from my deposits.
There was a ban in 2019 that that stops Landlords from forcing tenants to pay gor an end of tenancy clean, and forcing which company will be used.
Anyone got advice on this?
Are contract was signed via OpenRent

You are correct. LL cannot charge you for an end of tenancy clean. They can however make deductions from your deposit if the property is not returned in the same condition it was handed to you.

so… make sure that before you leave, you very carefully and comprehensively get photos of each and every room so that if the LL decides to claim, you can make a counterclaim with your evidence.
