External stairs repair question

I wonder does the buildings insurance cover this sort of damage on the outside structures. I presume not, but still worth asking.

A part of the stairs has a crack, and a big chunk of brick wall is loose, it can be moved easily. Not the stairs themselves, but the wall, a sort of partition or fence wall at the foot of the stairs.

And one of the steps is not in a good condition, the previous owner tried to fixed it with a sort of a filler at some point in past, but the result you can see on the picture.

Read your building insurance literature

They’d probably point to wear and tear as the cause. Your policy excess probably makes a claim not worthwhile anyway.

Can’t you get it repaired yourself
This is such a small job
Is it worth the increase in premium cost to yourself for the next few years because you made a claim

that single brick wall with soldiers on top will always give trouble. Take soldiers off relay horizontal and put concrete capping on it

Yes, it’s better repair it myself

No, I don’t think it’s worth it. I’ll definitely repair it myself
