Fence being damaged by neighbour's satellite dish

My tenant contacted me because the neighbour on the other side of the fence hung a satellite dish on top of the fence so that it is slowly falling off.
I went to see the guy and he blames my tenant for putting stuff against the fence which is obviously false and basically refused to discuss the problem denying that it has anything to do with his satellite Dish.
I don’t know what is the best way to resolve this. I have an insurance but apparently he doesn’t so I don’t know what happens if the fence falls off and he denies responsibility.
Any suggestions will

be very welcome

is this pic your side of the fence or his side?

The pic is my side, taken by my tenant. The satellite dish is on the other side (on the left)

get a 2 ft piece of slotted metal screw it into both sides into the timber fence level .The fence post will stop the left hand panel falling

Ah ok thanks I am going to order that. Would something like the piece in the picture be okay do you think?

yes . On the other side will be a “runner” at the top edge to get a good fixing Use the longest screws you can fix… Bolts thru with the nut on your side is even better. Usually in a garden like that one person “owns” the left hand OR the right hand fence . This may be lost in time tho

Thanks again, will do that,:+1::+1:

I think you will find that building insurance does not cover fences
