Hello all. My family and I are currently in emergency accommodation in Gloucester and for the last few months, I have tried and tried to find a suitable home for us to move into. However, it’s proven impossible.
We’re a family of six, four of which have differing disabilities including myself.
As a consequence, we’re a five bed need. We could possibly manage a four bed house, but even finding one of those on here is rare.
Now, unsurprisingly the council involved has found we made ourselves intentionally homeless. So, they aren’t willing to help.
I just don’t know what to do now.
We’re facing being evicted from this emergency accommodation unless we appeal their decision.
The bottom line is, we need a home.
We need it in Stroud/Gloucester for the kids schools.
If there is anyone that can help, we would appreciate it.
