Has anyone experienced bad service from this ?
I am not happy as my gas safety check was cancelled that was booked for this morning and we didn’t get told. I rang to speak to the engineer but he wouldn’t answer his phone or reply to my message.
I have been online to rebook an appointment but it wants me to pay again. I don’t have the funds to pay again. I just want the job done. My certificate runs out in a couple of days so its not looking good.
I don’t think I am going to use openrent anymore if I don’t this done asap.
A GSC can be booked up to 2 months prior to the expiry of the existing certificate and you can keep the expiry date of the existing certificate. In other words your new certificate can be valid for 14 months. This allows for any issues like the one you have experienced. It works in much the same way as a MOT for a motor vehicle. I will always book it 2 months in advance of the current certificate expiring to avoid any issues.
