Hi
I have a tenant applying to live in my property in London. Their financial situation isn’t ideal, but they are offering ‘help from family’ as a backup
How does one go about this with a securing a legally binding guarantor from UK (or indeed from EU)?
Is this a service OpenRent provides?
Many thanks for any ideas

EU guarantors have no standing in the U.K.
It must be a U.K. resident for it to have gravitas
Do you really want tenants with non ideal financial circumstances ?
RRB is around the corner . S21 will be impossible and getting tenants out will be impossible
Sift rent control is being introduced

You can add a guarantor in the same way as you can add an additional Tenant, by opening the tenancy page on open rent. It’s quite simple once you have selected the tenant to proceed with and they have paid their holding deposit.
Thank you very much for the information
