Amazing story in daily mail today about havering counvil refusing to return houses to LLs when LL invokes termination of contract. If havering can’t rehouse tenant the council effectively squats in house (albeit pay rent) then suggest you sell house to someone they introduce at a rock-bottom price because - you guessed it - it doesn’t have vacant possession! Apparently many such cases in havering. I’d never sign up to one of these rent to rent schemes.
Not that amazing. This is common to most Council schemes with private landlords, its just that most of them dont own up to it.
