So, my tenant paid me a holding deposit, which showed up on my screen.
We have both signed the Tenancy Agreement.
As I understand it, I have several days in which to refund the holding deposit.
How do I go about returning the holding deposit, or does Openrent do this automatically?
I am confused.
The holding deposit stays with Open Rent and they deduct it from the first months rent
So do I get paid my first month’s rent, minus the holding deposit or do I get the full month’s rent?
You get the full months rent a few days after the tenants move in. It’s explained clearly on the site.
