I moved out of my house share on the 11th and always paid rent early and paid for this month so technically even though I’m not in the room I’m a tenant. I left some stuff as I knew I’d need a second trip and the landlord has since held viewings without my knowledge (I would have got my stuff out before hand), moved my stuff and then left the room unlocked and a wire has been misplaced.
There’s a small stain on the mattress which I have tried to clean and think it has mostly come out and they’re saying it’s 70 quid off my deposit for it which seems unfair as I’m not sure when it got there as I didn’t notice it until I got an email after I had left and then went back to see the small spot but still tried to clean it myself.
Just unsure what my rights are and what I should even do right now.
