MCOL questions - 2 defendants but only one response received

Hi, I have served an MCOL on my tenants for unpaid rent.
There are 2 defendants.
One of them has entered a Notice of Part Admission which is for the full amount LESS the £115 court fee.
The other one, her partner hasn’t filed an acknowledgement or any other kind of notice.

I have been sent a form to complete and return by 24th July giving me:

Option A - I DO NOT accept the part admission or

Option B I ACCEPT …
1 - the proposal for payment
2 - the defendant hasn’t made a proposal for payment (she has, £37 per month)
3 . I do NOT accept the proposal for payment.

I’ve tried to find my answer on the Gov website but not seeing anything specific - but what do I do regarding the other tenant? By her filing an acknowledgement it gives her 28 days to respond. Obviously she already has responded but he hasn’t. She gets UC but he’s working. Are they trying to hide that from the court as she hasn’t declared on her affordability questionnaire anything about his income. The question “others in my home give me…” she has left blank.
He is on the tenancy agreement and is declared as working.

Just unclear on how to proceed as she is acting as if it’s all in her name when he is a joint defendant. Any advice?

Each tenant in a joint tenancy is responsible for 100% of the rent, so you could claim all the arrears from the one who has responded.
