Have just logged a deposit on my deposit but can’t find anywhere to download the deposit protection certificate? The only things to download are the prescribed information which you need to add info to (vi) & the information for the tenant
Does this all need to be printed off so the tenant signs it or does that the fact that it is just emailed with my electronic signature meet the legal requirements.
Any advice appreciated.
In DPS Prescribed information is signed by the tenant.
If there is a section for signature with my deposit you should keep a signed copy
You need evidence that you have served it, which just emailing it to the tenant wouldn’t give you.
