New contract being raised - Rent paid directly but open rent saying need to pay full amout again to raise the contract?

My two tenanats paid their first rent to me directly but took the holding deposit off the amount how can I get this back?

Also we tring to raise the contract and open rent asking for them to pay the full rent minus the holding deposit… I had a delay in geting my documents Gas and Electric uploaded which is why theypaid me directly on the first of the month…

The holding deposit, 1st months rent & security deposit HAS to be paid to Openrent for RentNow.

As you have collected directly, you cannot use RentNow, or you need to refund to tenant so they can pay properly… this said I trust they havnt moved in yet/ tenancy started already.
