Why does this site landlords to stipulate a no pets policy when current legislation doesn’t allow landlords to deny tennants who own pets without good reason?
Would ideally like to address this with the people who run the site.

Oh, and there is no current legislation saying this. Not yet, but it may come in with the RRB.

There is no legislation that prevents landlords from denying pets, and the proposed legislation doesn’t do this either.
By default, the new legislation requires landlords consent for tenant to have pets.
