Hi, when completing the Openrent application form it requires ‘current’ landlord details (which is fine), but…what details do Openrent ask/give to our current LL as we don’t want them to know (yet) as to our plans? Will it show the full details of our new proposed house details or just ask if we’ve been good tenants for the past 11 years? Thank you for the advice…
Ask Openrent but I can see no reason they would be sharing any details of the property you are applying for. Why would your current LL either care or want to know, it’s none of their business. They have no right to such information as part of your current tenancy agreement do they? Unless it eg requires you to provide a forwarding address when you keave and even then that would only apply once the future move is agreed…
