Rent covered by Housing Benefit

Hello!
I hope you’re doing well.
My name is Natalia, I’m originally from Russia, 42 years old, and I’ve been living in the UK for four years. I recently moved to London and am currently staying with friends while actively looking for work. I receive Universal Credit and am eligible for full housing support, so the rent would be paid directly through the benefits system — ensuring regular and reliable payments.
Unfortunately, I am unable to cover agency fees, so please contact me only if you are a private landlord or an agent whose fees are paid by the landlord.

I’m a clean, responsible person who values honesty, respect, and kindness. I take great care of any place I live in, and I’m now looking for a peaceful and stable home where I can build a new chapter of my life in London. I lead a healthy lifestyle and do not smoke. It is important for me to live in a smoke-free home where cleanliness is valued.

I would be truly grateful for your help with this important step. Thank you very much for considering me!

Warm regards,
Natalia

Whilst the Govt allows benefit claimants to spend the rent money without any recourse you will find majority of LL will find other applicants not on benefits more appealing.
