I was served a no fault Section 21 in May which ran out in July. Yesterday i received court papers for eviction but i dont think i have ever received a how to rent booklet. I have sort legal advice and apparently this could make the Section 21 invalid, is this correct?
If your tenancy was organised through Rent Now you would have got a copy of How to Rent by email

If its true it would invalidate the notice. Sounds like a dangerous gamble if youre not sure. Why didnt you leave at the end of the notice? Do you understand that in the current market your reputation as a tenant is your most valuable asset?
