I assume if you pay them for Rent Collection this might be automatic. Otherwise, No
If you are using OR’s rent collection service as part of Rent Now, they will chase for you if needed. Automatically sending a reminder every month should be unnecessary and would be excessive.
But instead of reminding people just ask tenant to set up a standing order (preferably at least three days before the due date in the contract to allow for weekends or BHs when some banks don’t process standing orders). Under RRA you can’t require this (just like OR standard tenancy doesn’t specify payment by direct debit or by standing order) but worth asking to save hassle
There should be no excuses for tenants not paying on time nor should LLs have to remind them. If your tenants can’t keep track of needing to pay monthly then they probably can’t cope with all their other responsibilities and should be avoided.
