Shared house overcrowded. There are 6 tenants, but the landlord agency claims that there are 5. In addition, they live as many more, incl. and children. The landlord agency and the house owner know about all this, but do not take any action. They just don’t care about anything but getting the rent money. The municipal council has been notified, but no one has yet come to inspect.
i would call either the HMO inspector or environmental health at the council
They will deal with it
You can also speak to Shelter to take legal action against them for overcrowding
Yes, after a long writing and many explanations by email to HMO, now I’m waiting for the real check. They asked me when I was available, I answered and that was it. I was not told how long the inspection would take place.
