My tenants were burgled this week, the criminals accessed the house by a downstairs window which had been left open. On their way out they took the tenants car keys and key to the house so now the lock needs to be changed - is the tenant responsible for the locksmith fee? This is not covered in the Openrent tenancy agreement.

why dont you change the locks yourself, its not to difficult, and go halves? on the other hand they left the window open ,you did not… eurolocks are very easy and yale, to change. Deadlocks a bit more difficult as there are different sizes
