Tenant moving out within six months by consent

Hello,
I have tenants who have been in situ since July and we have agreed that they will leave at the end of November. The contract is a standard Openrent contact with a six month break clause. I have read about deeds of surrender but these are only signed on the date they move out. I’m looking for a legally binding way for both parties to confirm that the tenancy will end on a set date, even though the original contract doesn’t allow it.

Thanks for any advice.
Steve

Easy. The tenant serves you a Notice to Quit, which ends the tenancy. You reply accepting the notice and on the date agreed their tenancy ends.
