So I have had a successful viewing and want to progress. What do I do first? Secure the property with a deposit or start with the credit checks? I know everything that needs to be done but just not clear on the order

Did you plan to take a holding deposit? Are you sure you know all the Tenant Fees Act rules around holding deposits? If so then this is your next step.

Hi Ceri, landlords usually take a holding deposit and then start referencing the tenants.
