I’m a 23-year-old student and I’ll be moving to London in April 2026 to start a Master’s degree in International Management. I’m currently looking for a place to rent.
I’ve sent a few enquiries, but I can’t confirm them yet as I don’t currently have a UK phone number. I’m arranging one as soon as possible and wanted to ask if there’s an alternative way to proceed in the meantime.

LLs advertising now may not want to wait till April for a new tenant to arrive tho

I would advise you not to rent anything before you have seen it in person. If you’re not going to be here until April, you might be best to find a temporary let (e.g. Airbnb place) for the first month so that you can then look at properties yourself when you arrive. That will also make it easier for LLs to meet you and therefore give you more chance of securing a property.
