I will be obliged to use a software to submit by self assessment tax return because a proportion of my total income is from rental premises. Which of the many free softwares is best ?
It seems a bit early to look – but I just submitted my return for 2025/26 and noticed the warning.
I use HAMMOCK. It is not free, but the costs are reasonable, and the software is easy to use, and has good features which are useful for my portfolio.
I’ve also found them ‘available’ for advice / support when required.
