Have you used a Agent before?
Would it be a good idea to use them?
what do you think the Pros and Cons of using agent will be as im a landlord out of London
I prefer to do it myself.
Use an agent if you want to have a totally hands off approach, you live far away from your property(s) or you just don’t have the time. There are many bad agents about so you will need to find a good one.
You can use an agent just to find a tenant which I did 3 months ago and to lodge the deposit. But I collect the rent. Or do it all thru Openrent who are cheaper than an agent . Depends how much work you want to do yourself
As said, the best option is to do everything yourself, but you should only do this if you are sufficiently knowledgeable of landlord and tenant regulations. Do some training first. Otherwise a good agent is a second best option for a fully managed service. The trick is finding a good agent.
