I have a 3 bedroom flat in Muswell Hill which has just been renovated. Can I advertise ‘perfect for couple or small family’ because I don’t want to rent to sharers as they would require an HMO which is a pain?
I don’t see why not.
Yes, no problem with that. You can even say no sharers if you like.
If you don’t have a HMO license you can’t rent to more than 2 unrelated people, so it isn’t an issue. 2 unrelated people sharing could apply, but 3 could not as that would be an HMO.
