We are two separate lease hold owners in a building with another who’s not paying their monthly maintenance (only £50 going up to £100 hopefully)
1 can we the Managment company just make this small increase as it’s to cover the higher cost of living, or is there a legal process?
2 that owner was left this flat, he lives abroad and doesn’t maintain it, unoccupied a year now, condensation issues , also has a very low lease extension left around 58 years.
How DO WE GET HIM TO PAY HIS MONTHLY amount and maintain it/ or encourage him to sell??? Please advise , much appreciated
as a backup get a lean put on the property so if he sells the money gets paid first. I f you know his place abroad send a solicitors letter. If he does not pay up ,you have the lean on the property at least. See aproperty lawyer for better advice

Book a free call with the Leasehold Advisory Service as there is a process you must legally go through.
