I have chosen my tenants already, without advertising.
When I try to add them I get this message: This property doesn’t have any active enquiries or holding deposits.
Do I have to get my tenants to ‘enquire’ in order to add them (and will OpenRent charge me for the privelige), or is there another way.?
To create a tenancy you have to list the property which generates a link which you then forward to your chosen tenants and yes there is a charge.
I assume you are using Openrent RentNow, otherwise there appears no point in adding them. Of course RentNow is a service so costs.
Once you have created your advert, you can pause it to stop other enquiries, and on your ‘tenant enquiries’ page, you can manually add your selected tenant details, and then invite them to secure the property by activating ‘RentNow’.
