Additional HMO Fire Door requirements

I am applying for an ‘Additional HMO’ License with Lambeth Council who are rolling out an HMO regime meaning that our 3 bedroom flat will be captured.

There isnt a clear explanation In thier guidance about whether fire doors are needer. They have referred to the cieh document attached which indicates that for a 2 storey building fire doors are not needed. Out flat is on the top 2 floors (first foor and loft) of a converted house so unsure whether we should be applying the 2 floor requirements or something else.

Lambeth council advise that they will take 28 days ro reply to my email asking about this!

Would anyone have any guidance on fire doors for additional HMOs please at all?

Get a fire risk assessment done and follow the advice. That also what Lambeth are likely to advise.
