All rent up front in exchange for shorter tenancy

A prospective tenant has offered all rent up front in exchange for a shorter tenancy than was advertising. I like the idea of the security this gives me.

Does the community have any knowledge of how best to do this legally through OpenRent? Does it support it ‘out of the box’? Or would I need to amend the contract/do anything specific?

You decide the length of the contract when you create it. It’s one of the basic functions.

Goes without saying though: do not skip referencing or checking affordability. You have no guarantee the person will actually leave at the end of the contract. Could be a way to secure a property and then stay on
