So, I have completed references but when connecting my bank the system was not clear and failed.
I have been working with the same firm for a while at different rates and salary. So the system may have become confused.
So I was asked to send payslips and copied of bank statements by the landlord - which I did.
I was told everything was fine and it was going ahead so my partner served notice.
Now I have been told I need to redo the bank connection. It is not obvious how to do that as apparently references are ‘complete’ and I am panicking as notice was served based on ‘its good to go ahead’ from the landlord.
Clearly your Open Banking has issues so how do I resolve this QUICKLY?!
Talk to your bank? Maybe they can help. Who said you need to do open banking? Did the landlord say this? Have you told the landlord the issue you’re having with open banking? I think you should have a talk with the landlord who are ultimately the one who decides if you rent the place or not.
