I couldn’t see this topic posted recently, so apologies if it is a duplication, but wondered if the community had any advice on which Business Account is best for a small Ltd Company. We just have 2 x BTL properties so need something pretty basic, but with free accountancy tools or software to prep for end of year accounts…
Looks like Starling, Tide, Mettle are frontrunners.
Any thoughts opion appreciated.
I have a Mettle account backed by Natwest Bank, and it was opened 3-4 years ago. maximum of 2 x directors / Persons with significant control allowed. App is all online on website/ smartphone App. works for me. its fairly basic. not sure about accountancy tools not used any. Interest bearing side accounts linked to current account if needed. I use it to run a RTM Co for small block of flats which is a Ltd Co. Good luck.
Thanks Ray. We have only 2 x Directors, so it seems fit for purpose, but hoping to try and make life easier (reduce cost of Accountant) if there are some Accountancy tools to log payments, expenses, loan repayments etc etc
