Hi all, I have a couple with a baby interested in renting my flat. The woman is not working as she is full time mum at the moment to a 9 month old.
Do I need to still reference her too? Will she automatically fail referencing as she has no income? The partner (male) income is substantially high enough for the rent. If I don’t reference both, can she still go on the contract as a permitted occupier?
I want to get rent guarentee insurance ideally, so don’t want references to fail just because she is mum to a new baby…
