Hi All,
I have 3 questions relating to BTL properties relating to Built in Wardrobe.
1 - what is the cheapest price to have someone making a built in wardrobe and where to find them ( either for personal or rental)
2 - Does it set off with anything, e.g. income tax or capital gain tax.
3 - Is it worth doing for a buy to let property
Any thoughts guys?

I would just get free standing if I were you. Anything built is likely to be costly if done properly. You will also reduce the effective room size in terms of calculating occupancy.

And no for income tax offset, unless you are replacing an existing similar wardrobe.
Possibly yes, for capital gains, if it is still there when the property is sold but not if claimed for income tax.

Replacing a second hand wardrobe is cheap, repairing a built-in wardrobe would be expensive.

I let my flat as unfurnished so it’s up to the tenants to buy their own.

Very good point there, it seems it is clear that no built in for BTLs from all angles.
