Thank you for sharing that Chris. We stopped using agents a long time ago so were not aware of that option
Hi I signed one of these agreements when I first was the landlord I had to pay the finders fee fee every month to the estate agents and to get out of the contract I was gonna have to pay something like three months rent which was thousands. I told the tenants I didn’t want them to leave but I didn’t want them to stay under this contract so we are waited till the end of the tenancy that year and then I paid for for their stuff to go into storage and painted the house. I asked them to stay somewhere else for a week and then they moved back again under a new contract that was the only way legally I could get out of that contract I’ve never used an estate agents since I never will again.

I’d just like to say thanks for all advice and responses. I shall pick out salient advice and put together a letter and send to the EA’s. What happens is anyones guess, it I will provide an update when I gave one. Happy New Year yo you All!
