I am exploring options to change an old electric immersion heater boiler in the attic.
Wanted to explore if there are any alternatives at this is a flat run on electricity. No gas supply at the moment will have to check if this is possible. Are there any other options worth exploring.

Not really an sltrrnative, but if you havent already, you could apply for an economy 7 tariff and heat it on cheaper overnight electricity.

Is this something you can pick up in B&Q as there is a store nearby.
You should bear in mind that as things stand, storage heaters and economy 7 are the only forms of electric heating that dont degrade an EPC score.
