Can you please share any ideas for extending a lease informally if you have gone through the process yourself or you know someone else who have?
I’m planning to extend the lease on my property. The local authority is my freeholder. Based on knowledge gained from reading, I understand it can be done informally I.e. leaseholder and freeholder reaching an agreement. I have written to my freeholder without any response. Any suggestions please?
The local authority wont be able to do that.
