Complain to openrent about applicant

Really like Openrent I’ve been using it now for a few years.

My question is how I go about complaining about an applicant.
I have a property up for rent, applicant was verified through openrent so everything looked good.
I decided to go with him and did the usual checks (he had ticked the box can provide guarantor which I had stipulated on the add and also asked him at the viewing which he said was fine. Long story and after chasing for four days for a guarantor his reply “family members not comfortable with the guarantor and also My brothers missus not allowing him to sign as a guarantor”.
He should not be verified if he can’t supply a guarantor.

Thanks in advance.

Not a bad idea really. Would give some tenants the edge if guarantor has also been credit checked.

Verified does not mean they can provide a guanator.

It is up to you as Landlord to vet, and sometimes you will choose a tenant who might waste some of your time. Thats Life.

You should always reference a guarantor. You could argue it’s more important than referencing the tenant as the financial buck stops with the guarantor.
