Think I’ve worked it out….yes a credit check is required by most landlords who use openrent. Some may accept a guarantor if your credit is poor but It’s on an individual basis and at the discretion of landlord. Many will not consider those with CCJS.
Just apply and make sure you disclose your full position.

Hi im English ok yes is very poor both our credit chrcks not had a CCJ thank god the last place we stayed at was private was on spare room we fail a credit check so we ended up staying in the same place i have a out if date passport but i won’t b the sole tenant thanks we got a guartour
