End of tenancy - why is it showing it will charge month after it ends?

Hello everyone,

My first tenancy (as the landlord letting) is coming to a clos eon 14 Sept. It shows it all correct as end of tenancy on 14 Sept, however my tenant received a message that they will be charged on 1 Oct. as per the normal cadence. Why is OpenRent saying they will take on 1 Oct. if the tenancy is due to end?

Charged for what? What date is the period of the tenancy?

I don’t think Openrent ‘TAKE’ money. I think Openrent rent collection is paid by Standing Order. This is a type of payment controlled by the sender, so your tenant is in control of what money is ‘SENT’ from their bank.

I believe Openrent just forward on to the Landlord what they receive.
