Hi, I’m new here. I have a question for landlords as need some advice.
I am renting out a flat that is partly furnished. It does not include an antique desk which was in one of the photographs but not on the inventory. The tenant has asked if they could have the desk in the flat. It is an antique, I do want to keep for myself but don’t have much room for it at home. I could agree and take it out at the end of the tenancy but I am also now thinking it probably doesn’t meet fire regulations as it’s over 100 years old?
What would your advice be please I want to make the flat lovely for the tenant and they really like the desk, but it is also something I would like to keep in the future.
