General lease clauses

Hi

If a lease contains two similar clauses, how are they applied? For example, first clause permits a vehicle of no more than 3 tonnes gross laden weight in the parking bay and a second clause says only cars and no vans.

Do we take the most out least restrictive? No vans or any vehicle under 3 tonnes respectively.

Just looking at buying a flat and spotted this.

Surely it means only cars under 3 tonnes.

A combination, thank you, that makes sense. We talked to a couple of residents at a viewing and they held different views so got a copy of the lease. Thanks again.
