Listed a property at a rental of £1200 per month.
Tenants were referenced for Rentguard RGI
Report came back that they could only afford £1140 per month.
I reduced the rent to £1140 and signed the agreement.
Phoned and messaged OpenRent who advise calling Rentguard.
Called Rentguard and told to contact OpenRent.
Result: one frustrated landlord taking his portfolio elsewhere.
Remedy: one phone call from OpenRent to sort out the situation.
