Please could you recommend where I could find a template for an assured shorthold tanancy agreement which I can issue to the tenant.

If you are not an experienced landlord then I would not recommend this course of action as you could lose thousands of pounds with simple administrative errors. You can get a free template and all the other required documents and advice by joining the NRLA, but I would suggest you complete their foundation training before you self manage.

err…OPENRENT. Managing yourself will be a disaster. Openrent does everything for you at almost no cost, including up to date agreements.
